A monitoring and reporting system for the operation of 10 production lines was implemented. The idea behind the system is to support line operators in their work, which is to properly weigh the goods. The individual lines are equipped with scales connected to the system. With the use of operator panels, the employee selects production orders downloaded from an external SQL database. Each production order is related to weighing of the manufactures product and archiving the weights of these products in the SQL database. Each produced bag has a unique label, printed online according to a pattern for individual recipients (recipient's logo, date, net weight, gross weight and others). From each line, signals are collected concerning the operating states of individual devices and the states of energy meters from each production line. The visualization system collects all of the data in an SQL database, which is located in a different branch of the plant. On the basis of the collected data, the system presents the current status of production and the advancement of orders, the status of individual lines, operating times and the number of device activations, and the energy consumption of individual lines.

Realization for SCANIA

The station is designed to improve the operators' work while working with heavy assembly equipment. The station enables the selection of a tool for a mechanical arm. The tools are housed in a dedicated tray with a range of diagnostic sensors. Pneumatic cylinders enable the tool to be picked up and put aside automatically. The operator, thanks to the support of the mechanical arm, does not have to carry heavy equipment and can easily reach the desired location during assembly.

Scope of works:

  • electrical design
  • delivery of the I&C cabinets
  • driver software

Project realised for RHC

The management system of the automated welding robot station is designed to manage the robot's work, set the appropriate program and report on the products made. The robot is managed by the Siemens controller from the Simatic S7-300 family. The operator communicates with the robot via the Profinet protocol in order to assign individual programs to be executed and to read the robot's status. The reporting system allows you to generate a report on the products made, the course of a given shift, and the employee's efficiency in a given time.
